The 2022 Yamaha Ténéré 700 World Raid (XTZ690D) was developed as a long-range adventure version of the standard Ténéré 700, aimed at riders who wanted greater touring capability without sacrificing off-road performance. Powered by Yamaha’s proven 689cc CP2 parallel-twin engine, the World Raid delivers strong mid-range torque, excellent reliability, and a characterful riding experience. Its biggest upgrade is the unique 23-litre dual fuel tank system, which significantly extends range while keeping the fuel carried lower in the chassis for improved balance.
The World Raid also benefits from fully adjustable long-travel KYB suspension, an Öhlins steering damper, a 5-inch TFT display, and switchable ABS modes. With 230mm of front suspension travel and 220mm at the rear, it is better equipped for demanding off-road routes than the standard model. Despite its larger fuel capacity and additional equipment, the bike retains the rugged simplicity and durability that made the Ténéré 700 such a popular adventure machine.
